Bidar Video Role
Bidar Video produced a step-by-step biotech lab training video for Portal Therapeutics, a GondolaBio affiliate, documenting PD sample collection and processing with close-up coverage, clear workflow structure, and training-focused visuals.
The Challenge
Portal Therapeutics needed a training video to document its PD sample collection and processing workflow in a clear, repeatable format. For biotech teams, medical laboratories, and life sciences organizations, lab procedures often depend on accuracy, consistency, and careful step-by-step execution. The goal was to create a visual training resource that could help staff follow the workflow more consistently.
This project required more than basic video recording. The process involved technical lab steps where timing, handling, labeling, equipment use, and sequence all mattered. If key details were missed or filmed from the wrong angle, the final video would not work as a useful training tool.
Bidar Video in collaboration with Alan Cash Video approached the production with a lab SOP training mindset. Working in joint production with Alan Cash, we reviewed the script, workflow, and required steps before filming so the production could follow the procedure accurately. The shoot was planned around the workflow itself, with wider shots for context and close-up coverage for sample handling, tools, labels, equipment, and key actions.
The production setup included controlled camera angles, lighting, monitoring, and detail-focused coverage designed for technical training use. The goal was to make the lab process easy to follow on screen without slowing down or interrupting the work being demonstrated.
The final deliverable gave Portal Therapeutics a focused biotech training video that could support internal training, onboarding, procedural consistency, and clearer communication around the PD sample collection and processing workflow.
