Project & Case Study

Real Project. Real Production Work.

Conference Videography for Mind the Product at YBCA San Francisco

Client name

Mind the Product - Conference at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

Venue/Location

701 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA

Bidar Video Role

Bidar Video provided conference videography for Mind the Product at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, capturing multi-camera keynote presentations, clean stage audio, cinematic b-roll, audience engagement, and a story-driven event recap video.

The Challenge

Mind the Product needed professional video coverage for its San Francisco conference at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The event brought together product leaders, speakers, and attendees for a full day of presentations, networking, and product management conversations.

For tech conferences, product management events, SaaS companies, corporate event teams, and professional associations, conference video needs to do more than record the stage. It should capture the ideas being shared, the audience's energy, the venue's atmosphere, and the moments that can be used afterward for marketing, internal training, social media, and future event promotion.

The challenge was to cover a full-day conference in a way that felt both organized and cinematic. Keynote presentations needed clean multi-camera coverage and clear audio, while the event recap needed strong b-roll of the venue, audience, networking, branding, and behind-the-scenes moments. The client also needed focused coverage of Christian Idiodi, a partner at Silicon Valley Product Group, including speaker footage and behind-the-scenes material.

Bidar Video approached the project with a documentary-style conference videography workflow. We balanced stable keynote coverage with cinematic event storytelling, ensuring the client received both complete presentation recordings and promotional content that captured the day's energy.

For the keynote sessions, we used multi-camera coverage to capture the stage from different angles and keep the presentations visually engaging. Clean audio was captured from the stage microphones and PA system so the recordings would be useful after the event, not just visually strong.

Throughout the day, we filmed cinematic b-roll of YBCA, audience engagement, networking moments, event details, speaker interactions, and the overall conference environment. Because Yerba Buena Center for the Arts has a strong stage design, theater layout, acoustics, and lighting environment, we used the venue’s visual character to support the final story.

The final deliverables included full raw recordings of the keynote presentations, an edited polished story-driven recap video, and speaker-focused footage for personal and promotional use. The finished video assets provided Mind the Product with content to support post-event marketing, social media campaigns, internal training, speaker promotion, and future conference visibility.

This project shows how professional conference videography can help product teams, technology event organizers, and corporate conference organizers turn a live event into long-term video assets that continue to work after the audience leaves the room.
