The Challenge
Virgin Atlantic and the British Consulate General in San Francisco hosted an event celebrating Virgin Atlantic’s long-standing presence in the Bay Area and the connection between London and San Francisco. The event brought together guests, speakers, brand moments, and a strong sense of occasion inside the Center for Architecture + Design.
The project needed more than simple event coverage. The goal was to create a recap video that could preserve the atmosphere of the evening while also giving the organizers a polished piece of content to share after the event. For a brand-centered celebration like this, the video needed to capture both the formal moments and the natural energy of the room.
Our approach was to film with the final recap in mind. We captured speaker moments, guest interactions, venue details, branded visuals, audience reactions, and b-roll that helped show the tone and importance of the event. The coverage focused on the people, setting, and story behind the celebration so the final video could feel useful beyond the event day itself.
The final deliverable gave the organizers a concise event recap video that highlighted the occasion, documented the gathering, and created a shareable asset for post-event communication, brand visibility, and future promotion.
